Important Information for Guests

COVID-19 Precautions

Mildenhall Guest House is a COVID-19 safe business. We have always had strict safety and hygiene procedures in place, and in particular through the COVID breakouts, we have ensured even more stringent protocols to keep both staff and guests safe. Where COVID-19 precautions have been lifted around us, Mildenhall Guest House continues to take strict precautions in its cleaning and sanitising processes. Sanitisers are also available in every room of the guesthouse. Guests will be requested not to attend if they are feeling unwell. Mildenhall Guest House will continue to be guided by NSW Health.

Terms & Conditions

All stays at Mildenhall Guest House are based on a two-night minimum stay. In holiday breaks, such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, school holidays and public holidays, there is a three-night minimum stay. All stays are on a per room rate basis. See Accommodation page for room rates.

A standard breakfast is included in the accommodation package. If breakfast is not required by guests, the full price is still due. Whilst dinners are optional, as there are limited dining facilities in Bundanoon, it is highly recommended that guests book dinner on one of the evenings they stay at Mildenhall. Dinner will be at an extra cost. See Meals page for dinner rates.

As there are no credit or Eftpos facilities at Mildenhall, payment is requested by direct debit. Once the online Booking form is completed and received, a confirmatory email will follow. An invoice will be sent outlining the costs. To secure the booking, a deposit of $100 per person is due by direct payment within 14 business days of invoicing with the balance due by direct payment 14 business days prior to guests’ stay (or otherwise as arranged with the Manager).

Meals

There is a guest fridge available for guest’s use to keep beverages cool. All meals are provided at Mildenhall. Guests may arrange to have meals at the guesthouse by prior arrangement with the Manager. Guests are asked not to bring food onto the premises, other than (a few) nibbles. Guests may not bring in meals from other food outlets. Any food brought onto the premises from outside is at the risk of the guest and no responsibility is taken by Mildenhall Guesthouse or the Manager for food brought onto the premises and/or consumed by guests.

All meals at Mildenhall are provided with the highest quality food at a reasonable price. Every attempt is made to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Therefore, it is important to notify the Manager, upon booking, of any dietary requirements or food allergies.  Unfortunately, there is always a risk of contamination, but all due care is taken. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods used could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Guests who are concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk and speak with the Manager prior to arrival. No liability will be assumed for adverse reactions to food consumed, or items one may come into contact with while eating food that is provided.

Mildenhall Guest House, the manager or its agents take no responsibility for food items once they leave their control. Mildenhall, the manager or its agents waiver all liability, including, but not limited to, liability for food spoilage arising out of the transportation, refrigeration, re-heating, or handling of food by clients or event guests should food leave Mildenhall’s, the manager or its agents’ control. Mildenhall, the manager or its agents do not warrant that information provided by either entity, its staff or agents is all-inclusive as to the avoidance of spoilage, nor do they warrant that food products once they leave their control will not spoil.

Guests have access to their allocated bedroom and bathroom, the lounge area, dining room and breakfast area. Guests are requested not to use any bathroom that is not assigned to them. Guests are requested not to access the kitchen and the hosts’ quarters at any time.

There is sufficient parking for five guests’ vehicles. Guests are requested to park in the designated parking spots. Please ensure your vehicles are locked, as no responsibility can be taken for stolen items or stolen vehicles whilst on the premises. There is also street parking available.

Food and Drink

Guests are able to have food and drink in the dining room, the breakfast area and the lounge room. Guests are requested not to eat or drink in the bedrooms to preserve the cleanliness of the room and its furnishings. Water is fine.

Guest’s Behaviour

While it is hoped that guests have an enjoyable and comfortable experience at Mildenhall, it is expected that all guests display respect for other guests, the hosts and to our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. Music should be turned off by 11pm. Loud, offensive and/or drunken behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests who display such behaviour may be requested to leave if it disrupts other guests from enjoying their stay at Mildenhall.

Illness

If guests are feeling ill prior to the booked dates or prior to arrival, please contact the Manager. It is very important that guests who are unwell do not visit the guesthouse to ensure safety for other guests, the hosts and other contractors. It will be up to the discretion of the Manager if alternative arrangements can be made.

Children

While we love children, Mildenhall is essentially offered as a retreat for adults to unwind and enjoy the pleasures of Bundanoon – good food, good wine and good company. Children under 10 years of age are welcome under the supervision of their parents and as part of a group. Guests are asked to bring a cot for babies and infants under 2 years. Please note there are no family rooms and children over 2 years of age who sleep in a bed in a guest bedroom will pay normal room rates.

Pets

Mildenhall Guest House is not able to accommodate pets as it is not secure.
